Cool to the touch, refined to the eye

A pre-dyed silk fabric with a cool, slightly crisp feel and moderate body that resists droop even as a single-layer garment. Fine cross-shaped and hexagonal ikat patterns create an intricate, luxurious appearance. A unique hot-water fulling process that shrinks the cloth to its finished width is exclusive to Shiozawa.

Fine Silk Crepe of Shiozawa

A pre-dyed silk fabric with a cool, slightly crisp hand and moderate body that prevents the garment from collapsing even when worn as a single layer.

Fine cross (jujigasuri) and hexagonal (kikkogasuri) ikat patterns produce an intricate, richly detailed appearance.

After weaving at a wider width, a unique hot-water fulling (yu-momi) process shrinks the cloth to its finished width — a technique found nowhere else but Shiozawa.
